CorShonda “CoCo” Springer is a talented producer, studio owner, and serial entrepreneur who is recognized for her unique combination of creativity and production skills.
CoCo is the owner of CoCo Studios in West Midtown and has more than 10 years of industry experience managing full production operations.
Her very first job being an Associate Producer for BET’s Soul Brother Number One; nationally televised home going celebration for James Brown.
This opportunity allowed her first experience to be a memorable one; working hand in hand with talent such as Michael Jackson, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Reverend Al Sharpton, Bootsy Collins, MC hammer, Dick Gregory, and Don King just to name a few.
Her resume has continued to grow over the years and she has been blessed to work with many sought after artists and celebrities.
While running her studio and executive producing award shows for the Neighborhood Awards, Essence Festival and the Democratic National Convention; just to name a few; CoCo also found time to develop a television series called ‘Greenwood Avenue,’ the story of “Black Wall Street,” an historic account of what happened in early 20th Century America when African Americans where successfully building businesses in Tulsa Oklahoma, before the race riot in 1921.
It is now placed with a well known LA based based production company that is actively involved with getting it placed.
CoCo is a smart, creative, strategic and talented business person. She started CoCo Studios in 2012 in Atlanta and has seen it grow into an important location for original content, live streaming, hybrid-events, high-end music video production, reality television and a successful prop and furniture rentals business.
She is enjoying a distinguished career; working in various areas of production.
She served as a Co-Executive Producers for “The Hills” starring Clifton Powell, Omar Gooding, Malik Whitfield, Claudia Jordan, Cynda Williams, and Carl Clemmons just to name a few.
Artists such as TI, YFN Lucci, Ralo, Anthony Hamilton, Latto, Beanie Seigel, Rich Homie Quan, Lil Yachty, Birdman, Young Thugger, Two Chains, K-Kamp, Kevin Gates, Chet Hanks, Trinidad James, Boosie Bad Azz, Angie Stone, Tasha Cobbs, Public Enemy, Black Yungsta, Jeezy, and Big Krit; just to name a few, have filmed their music videos at CoCo Studios.
While actors such as Gabrielle Union, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Keith David, Danny Glover, Nicole Ari Parker, NeNe Leakes, Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, Romany Malco, Mo’ Nique, John Michael Higgins, Charlie Murphy, Maxine Jones, Omar Gooding, Clifton Powell, Claudia Jordan, Lamman Rucker, Tommy Ford, Elise Neal, and David and Tamela Mann have filmed feature length movies at her facility.

Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Kevin Criner, who writes under the pen name KC Joseph, is a prolific thinker, artist, philosopher, writer and historian.
He's a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and author of the novel Sinderella. His love of storytelling and black people have taken him across the globe. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
